This was in my first season of riding a bike. Me and my friend Matthew just spontaneously decided to ride from one city to another and have chosen Tver to be our target. I can’t say I remember a lot of things, but we did it in 12 hours or so. And we were very tired. Something about 4k calories lost even though we ate a lot of fast-food on the way.
No preparation at all. No special food. No training in advance. The most fun part was me riding not on a proper bicycle. I was riding Mountain Bike (Merida). It’s cheap, completely not suitable for such rides. But I’ll have one more time riding this bicycle to the other city. And the next time trip was much easier in terms of physics.
But this was definitely a fun journey! We live for that kind of stuff.
